CAMPING RULES & REGULATIONS

DUE TO THE UNIQUE CONDITIONS AND RISK, CAMPFIRES MAY BE DISALLOWED AT OWNER DISCRETION. WE APOLOGIZE FOR ANY INCONVENIENCE.

Rules help everyone by making your stay with us more enjoyable and safe. ANY activity that infringes upon the rights of other campers is forbidden.

These rules are strictly enforced to help you.

Outside firewood may NOT be brought into the Campground

(per order of the Army Corps of Engineering)

GENERAL RULES

  1. ONE TRAILER OR RV, 2 VEHICLES- there is a maximum of 8 people ( 4 adults / 4 kids ) allowed per site. Car passes must be visible at all times.

  2. CAMPERS USE all facilities at their own risk. PARENTS are responsible for their kids at all times. Children under 8 must be supervised on the playground at all times.

  3. Minor children under 18 years old must never be left alone on campground property under any circumstances.

  4. Minor children under 18 years old are not permitted off their site after 11:00 PM unless accompanied by a parent.

  5. Do not cross occupied sites.

  6. Cutting down any live or dead trees or shrubs is not permitted.

  7. Fires are restricted to stoves or fireplaces. Do not move fireplaces.

  8. Bicycle riding is not allowed after dark.

  9. Kids under 16 years old must wear bicycle helmet whenever riding in accordance with Massachusetts state laws.

  10. Motorcycles and motorbikes are allowed entering or leaving the campground only.

  11. There is a maximum of no more than 2 vehicles allowed per site.

  12. ATV riding or Dirt Bike riding is prohibited on campground property.

  13. Quiet hours are between 11PM - 10AM. Radios must be off by 11:00PM, fires must be out by 1AM - Socializing must take place inside after 2AM. Any annoyances should be reported to the office immediately

  14. No smoking is permitted on the beach, in the country store, in the pavilion or in the recreation room.

  15. Village Green will only accept trash in our blue trash bag. One bag is provided upon registration. More blue trash bags may be purchased at the country store for $1.00. Please put filled trash bags near the entrance, by the dumpster. 

  16. ANYONE (CHILD OR ADULT) PARTAKING IN BEHAVIOR THAT DOES NOT PROMOTE GOOD FAMILY VALUES i.e. swearing , excessive drinking, infidelity, or drug use, will be removed from our campground.

 

PET POLICY

  1. No more than 2 dogs per site.

  2. Dogs must be friendly & leashed at all times.

  3. Do not leave Dogs unattended.

  4. Dogs that bark continuously, must be removed from the campground.

  5. Dog stools must be picked up and put in trash. (not in bushes, fireplaces or buried)

  6. No dogs are allowed in the pond, on the beach, in the store or in the bath house.

  7. All pets mush have a current rabies certificate upon arrival.

VISITORS

  1. All visitors must register in office. Failure to register visitors will result in loss of visitor privileges.

  2. No visitors are allowed after 8PM.

  3. All day visitors must leave by 11PM

  4. Visitor parking is located in front of the campground by the public road.

  5. No visitor parking is permitted in camping area.

POND

  1. No lifeguard is furnished. Swim at your own risk.

  2. All minor children must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.

  3. Fishing is catch & release only. No fishing off spillway or beach area.

ALCOHOL

  1. BEER, WINE & PRE-MIXED DRINKS ONLY will be allowed at Campground functions. ( Dances, Beach, Ball field )

  2. No liquor bottles or consumption of shots is allowed at dances, beach or ball field .

  3. All liquor bottles must remain on campsite in a secure area.

  4. In accordance with Massachusetts state law, no one under the age of 21 will be allowed to consume alcohol at Village Green Family Campground.

  5. ANY ONE DEEMED, BY MANAGEMENT, TO HAVE CONSUMED MORE THAN HIS / HER SHARE OF SPRITS WILL BE ASKED TO RETIRE TO THEIR SITE.

FIREWOOD

  1. Firewood is sold in the campground, $5.00 Bundle/$50-$65 steel bucket. Wood must be handled very carefully. Fire Wood brought into Campground must remain in your vehicle until it goes directly into Fire.

  2. NO OUTSIDE FIREWOOD CAN BE STORED IN CAMPGROUND.

ANY ONE EVICTED FOR DISTURBING OTHER CAMPERS OR DESTRUCTION OF CAMPGROUND PROPERTY WILL NOT BE GIVEN A REFUND.
